feel better soon

Hello Everyone. Hope you had a great weekend and found some time to get creative.
I have a couple of get well cards to share with you today. The first one was super easy and I really like the CAS look. I die cut a circle out of scrap paper to create my stencil, then I sponged a couple of Distress Oxide inks in the circle. Once that dried I stamped the dandelion image three times and used some green distress oxide ink to paint the stems and leaves. The greeting was stamped with Archival black ink.
For this card I started by the stamping the silhouette palm trees with Versafine Black ink and heat embossed them with black EP. Next I sponged on various Distress Oxide inks to create the background. I used a small brush to sprinkle on some water for interested. The feel better soon is part of a larger greeting and was stamped with VersaMark ink and heat embossed with detailed white EP
once the black frame was die cut. Pretty bird Odie was stamped, colored with Copics, fussy cut and layered on some die cut palm trees before adding him to the frame.
Thanks for stopping by today.
blessings,
shelia

Shelia, some great get well cards! Each so different and so special - one calming and one super colorful and fun. I feel inspired and wish I could stay home and make cards today after seeing these!
What beautiful cards Shelia! Your get well card is incredible - I know I'm going to be "borrowing" it in the future :) Your palm tree card to so bright and cheerful - you can't help but feel better just looking at it! Great job with the coloring/cutting on Odie and putting him in the tree!
The sunrise/sunset backgrounds on your cards today are so beautiful! I love the CAS look on the first, it's so pretty and soothing and the tropical look is so fun and would make anyone feel better :)
So pretty Shelia! Love the circle with color and your silhouettes and your tropical scene is very pretty!
These are beautiful, Shelia! I love the sunset circle on your get well card. And your tropical palms w/ beautiful parrot is really gorgeous.
