by Julie Warner - The Write Stuff

Happy Friday!
I hope your week has gone well! I have some more new images to show you today and it's in keeping with what's finally happening in my yard...FLOWERS! As I write this I'm looking out my kitchen window & the dogwoods, azaleas, rhododendrons & all manner of other plants are in full bloom. Since this is the first spring we've been in our new house, I wasn't sure what all was growing in the beds.  Here's a pic of what I see out the window. These are on the opposite side of the front yard. We're surrounded by woods on all sides & the Chattahoochee Nat'l Forest surrounds the whole area. I also found a cherry tree, some apple & peach trees, a large grapevine & some blueberry bushes. I can't wait to see how they taste!
Anyway, to make my card, I die cut the vellum centerpiece then stamped the greeting w/ black Stazon. The flower scroll was stamped using Brilliance moonlight white & a little pink added to back side w/ a Prismacolor pencil. I used a white pencil on the back side to add the highlights to the greeting. It's attached to a dot embossed bg that I used a white marker to highlight the dots & edge it. The pink bg was embossed w/ a corner folder after die cutting.
Here's a look at the inside.

Thanks so much for stopping by! Have a great weekend!

The card is just beautiful! That vellum sentiment with the embellishment of the flower scrolls looks so elegant and I love that you carried the scrolls to the inside as well! It's almost as pretty as what's outside your window :)
