Pencil Line

 Happy Friday!
I hope your week has gone well! I have a CAS (clean & simple) card today. I don't know about you, but CAS is something that I struggle with...logically, I know there's supposed to a lot of white space, but it still makes me a little nervous. This new Pencil image is technically, supposed to go on the back of the card, but I couldn't get this idea out of my head to put it on the front. To me, it looks made to go w/ the Dropping a Line, greeting.

To make it, I die cut the white panel, then stamped the greeting & part of the pencil then colored them. I added some coloring under the greeting to make it slightly dimensional looking. Then I embossed the left side w/ part of an embossing folder. Lucky for me I had the pencil border folder & even luckier, I could find it! After embossing, I lightly rubbed a turquoise Prismacolor pencil over the raised lines.
Here's a look at the inside & below are the Copics I used.
Thanks so much for stopping by! Have a great weekend!
Supplies:
stamps: DRS Designs - Just Dropping a Line,  Hand Colored by Pencil (inside: Happy tHappy Day )
paper: Staples 110# white, gray
ink:  Memento tuxedo black, gray flannel
accessories:  Copic markers, Candi button, twine, Darice embossing folder (Pencil Border)
