Beautiful Peace

>> Sunday, January 21, 2018

I have unfortunately had the need for a number of Sympathy cards.  I made this one for a friend who lost her Mother to colon cancer.  Her Mother was young and very full of Christ's peace.  She showed His joy and peace in everything she did including her death.  I felt this card was very fitting.

To make the card, I swiped some different blues on a piece of crumpled aluminum foil.  Then I splashed on some water.  When the inks were wet enough, I dipped my paper into them a few times until all the ink was on my paper.  I used a heat gun to dry the paper, and the stamped the Snow Background and the Medium Filigree Snowflake on the dried panel.
Next, I sprayed some Dylusions Blue spray on a large SU! Wooden Snowflake and then splattered on some Snowtex.  I made some handcut overlapping hills and paper pierced them with a needle.  To make my peaceful greeting, I stamped the Beautiful Holiday Christmas Greeting and cut out the words Beautiful and Peace.

Warm Hugz,

Nancy
