Good morning all!
It's getting close to Halloween so I'm just making a few last cards
for the occasion!
I used some Core'dination paper (black one side and purple on the other) to emboss this spider web background then sanded it.
I wanted to add some sparkle to the web so I tried a glitter pen but it wasn't enough for me. I used my Dries Clear glue with metal tip applicator to apply glue to the strands of web then poured loose glitter over it. In real life it is very sparkly and pretty.
I used DRS stamps Bubbling Beaker 253F, Brewing Halloween Greeting 308F, & Magic Potion Shelf 537H. I stamped, colored and fussy cut each to form my scene. The white web frame is a "around the page" border punch set by Martha Stewart and the Bat is from a Spellbinders Halloween die set.
I made layers of orange, lime green and purple for under the web frame to go with my scene.
Next up is a Thanksgiving card done with copper embossing powder and these DRS stamps: Filigree Pumpkin 334G and Thanksgiving Arc 050E
I double stamped the pumpkin, one layer is popped up. The edges are distressed and then rubbed with embossing fluid, dipped into the copper powder and then heated with my heat gun. I stamped the Happy Thanksgiving above the pumpkin (before adding the raised layer) and then for my sticks and leaves I used a Cottage Cuts wreath die set with copper paper. I only used the extra sticks and the leaves with acorns and sponged with a bit with alcohol inks to give a bit of dimension. I wrinkled them a bit and added them to each side of the pumpkin. I glued it to a copper panel and then to a black folded card to finish.
Hope you got some inspiration and get to crafting!!
Thanks for visiting today!

Oh those glittery spider webs are so fun paired up with that frame and I love all the cute Halloween colors too :) The copper embossing on the Thanksgiving card is just beautiful! Well done on both!
