Happy Friday!
I hope your week has gone well! While it's not quite meteorological summer yet, most of the schools are out & it's pretty much officially summer. Vacations have started & I know a lot of folks retire about now. Like my Golf Lady. And she looks pretty happy about it, too. She reminds me a little of my Aunt Mary. Mary has probably played more golf than Arnold Palmer!
For the green background, I put the die cut panel into my Misti and stamped the Later Alligator first w/ the bamboo ink then shifted it slightly & stamped again w/ the white pigment ink to get that shadow effect. The golf lady was stamped, colored, fussy cut & I wrote Retired on her license plate. Part of the background stamp was used for the greeting below her.
Here's a look at the inside & below it are the Copics I used.
Thanks so much for stopping by! Have a great weekend!
Supplies:
paper: Staples 110# white, mint green, pink
ink: Memento tuxedo black, bamboo leaves, Colorbox frost white pigment
accessories: Copic markers, Misti, ODBD double stitched rectangles & rectangles dies

OMGosh, she is so cute!!! LOve this image for a retirement card and your coloring is off the charts like it always is!! Beautiful!
Julie, that shadow effect is so cool. At first I was trying to figure out how you got an embossing folder matching the new See You Later Alligator stamp! Super fun golfer too - colored up perfectly. Fun retirement card with some great techniques. Hugz
Incredible Julie! LOVE the shadow background - what a great idea! Also love how you used the one line from the background as the greeting!
Your background is amazing! Love the license plate you made too and the image is just darling paired up with the clever sentiment! Super cute :)
