So Sorry

Good morning!

Today I have some sympathy cards for you.  I have to admit that I am not the best sympathy card maker because I rarely make them but everyone should have a few in their stash for that unforeseen need.

My first card uses the new From My Heart To Yours 097C stamp 

I've used several dies with this stamp today, Heartfelt Asters and ODBD Hearts.

I made a window with a heart and made a frame to go over the outside.  Inside I used Fun Foam as a layer to pop up my top layer.

I put a bit of glue on the ends of the stamen and dipped them into a bottle of lavender Prills.  

I used seam binding and made a nice bow then crunched it up in my hand after misting it with water.  I love the crinkled look! (My husband said "hey, you should make a new bow, this one is wrinkled"...Heehee! the look on his face when I told him I crinkled it on purpose!!!)

I cut another heart shape to fit in my window and embossed the sentiment on it then sponged some blue around the edges and glued it in the window opening.

My next card is a bit more classic using ivory and gold.

I used the new Our Thoughts With You 121D and and older classic, Calla Lily Sympathy Frame 587L both embossed with fine detail gold powder.

The ribbon is sheer with gold edges and on top of a gold card stock, also used for matting my oval and rectangle.

The card itself is a shimmery ivory, really pretty.

I also used gold nailhead 3-D stickers for embellishment.

Pierced Oval and Pierced Rectangle dies are from ODBD.
