Spring is coming...

Welcome!
It seems like just a few short weeks ago I was asking everyone to cross your fingers for me that we would get a boat load of snow... and you must have, because we did :) Last week we received another 18 inches of love from mother nature and well, to put it bluntly, I'm done with snow and winter :) and my card this week reflects it!
This is one of those miracle cards that came together just like I envisioned it. A bit more work than I thought it would be...but it was worth it in the end :)
I started my card by stamping our Flower Border on some white card stock 4 times, coloring and fussy cutting them. My light yellow layer measures 2 3/4" x 4 1/4" and I stamped the center with our Spring is Coming Greeting using blue ink and then layered all on a folded blue card that I had run through my cuttlebug.
Now, let's all cross our fingers that spring is here to stay :)
Thanks so much for stopping by!!
Sue

So very pretty I love the colors and the design.
Beautiful Spring card, Sue. I really like the bright colors & how you fussy cut the flowers to make the frame!
Wow, 18 inches of snow! You should be ready for Spring!!
Such a cool design with those flowers! They are one of my favorite DRS Design images, and I am thrilled to see them used this way. Super colors too. This is very Spring-y. Wow - 18 inches of snow - we would be in an emergency state with 2 around here! Hope Spring is starting to pop up soon there. Hugz
Wow! Is this every bright & happy, Sue! Love the eye popping colors & fussy cutting. Snow?? We didn't even have a winter. I don't think I even took my coat out of the closet at all!
