Good morning!
Today I have some winter cards. We finally got some winter here!
Woohoo! Snow!
Woohoo! Snow!
Today I've used DRS stamps: Country Window 444L, Pine Tree Snowdrifts 320H, Pine bough 467K, Christmas Village 4 in 1 accessories 119D, Snowy Days, Frosty Nights 1123F and Small Cardinal 1050F
I masked off the butterfly from the window and stamped then made a mask and stamped my pine from the 4 in 1 accessories. masked and stamped my Pine Tree Snowdrifts. I punched a circle and masked off the moon then sponged on the color with Distress Inks.
I added sparkle with Wink Of Stella and glitter to the windows for snow build up. I stamped my curtains again onto a tan color and cut them out to glue onto my white curtains. The panel is cut out using a Spellbinder die.
I stamped the top half of the greeting and die cut with the Spellbinders Rectangles.
Inside
I stamped and masked the bird first then stamped the pine boughs and the bottom half of the greeting.
For this card I used: Baby It's Cold Outside 1137G, Double Tall Pines 741P, Simply Snowman 383G, and Snowflake Background 187H
I stamped my trees and snowman then masked both and stamped the snowflake background with VersaMark. I heat embossed with clear to form a resist then sponged my color on masking the snowman and trees.
I formed mounds of snow with torn paper and Snow Marker plus glitter then heat. The trees were shaded slightly then I used glue and glitter on them.
The snowman has Wink Of Stella on his body, hat and scarf. I used Snow marker and glitter on his hat and arms to show snow build up then heat to puff.
Lastly, I Stamped the Greeting with Black VersaFine and heat embossed with clear.
I'm hoping to build a snowman in the yard SOON!
Thanks for visiting today!

Robin, these are two totally awesome winter cards! Love your sponging and colors on the 2nd one - the colors are soooo pretty. Super images too. The first one is fab with that lovely winter scene on the front (awesome idea btw) and the gorgeous cardinal inside. Beautifully done, my friend. Hugz
You have completely outdone yourself Robin! Both cards are incredible!! Love the die cut on the window scene (so you don't have to do the whole inside of the room) and the snow scene is amazing! Great idea giving the cardinal a bit more branch to sit on :)
Words can't describe how much I love the second card too! Those pines trees are one of my favorites and I love how you covered them with snow! Incredible background, awesome layout, perfect colors and coloring... I could go on and on :)
Glad you finally got your snow!
Both cards are just beautiful, die cutting the window was genius. Love the colors. So Beautiful.
Wow Robin, these are both so beautiful. Love the window scene card, especially the snow on the window panes!
WOW! That window scene is so incredible! Just an amazing card and your creativity is amazing! Love your winter snowman dusted with snow and the CAS cardinal card is gorgeous!
These are both super, Robin! Love the little window scene w/ the pretty polka dot bow I snow outside. Your snowman card is terrific! Love the colors & tall pines.
