Christmas Roof Tops
>> Tuesday, December 6, 2016
Hi Everyone,
There hasn't been a dull moment around my house for the past few days. Everything from minor illness, to a pet emergency, to car problems and broken things around the house. All while having the extra busyness of the holiday season. Never a dull moment.
That's why I chose to share my simple, calming cards showcasing the great new holiday stamp, Christmas Rooftops. With the smoke coming out of those chimneys, I just imagine everyone inside those homes relaxing, reading and sipping hot cocoa :) And not having a care in the world :)
I just stamped and colored the image adding a snowflake border, and used my stamp a ma jig to position the All is Calm Greeting at the bottom.
To jazz it up a bit, I hit all the roof tops with my glitter glue to finish it off.
I love the stamp so much I went ahead and made a second CAS card. This time I stamped the houses along the bottom and added some punched hearts to indicate the love flowing from my home to yours :)
And here's a close look at the From My House at Christmas Greeting that was die cut and added with dimensional foam dots.
Here's wishing you peace in your little corner of the world.
Thanks for visiting!

Karin, this are great ways to use this stamp! Love the glitter and the hearts and the snowflake border - super great accents. Fun cards. Hugz
Karin, I really like these cards! Using the hearts on the second one is so awesome. I am totally going to case this one. I like all the glitter & snowflakes on the first one too. Fantastic cards!
Karin I love both of your cards, the glitter and the little hearts are the perfect finishing touch.
Your borders are gorgeous and I love the glittery roof tops!! The inside is so cool with the hearts overhead! LOVE it!!
I'm feeling the calm, quiet, peacefulness of your lovely cards! Love how you filled in the extra space with the hearts - and glitter is always a bonus :)
These are lovely, Karin! Both ways you used the rooftops are perfect. And I love the glittered roofs. Great layering on these!
