Happy Friday!
I hope your week has gone well! Well we're getting down to the wire with sending out Christmas cards, so I have a fairly quick and simple one today. Seems I always need a few extra and this late in the season, they really need to be quick. I had this piece of white already die cut so I used some Distress inks to sponge in some pink/reds from the upper left and some lime greens from the lower right. The pine bough was stamped a couple of times w/ a combo of the green Memento inks and the greeting was stamped w/ black. I added a narrow pine green layer & instead of using another white layer to use the embossing folder on, I embossed the front of the card. The trick w/ this is, because I only wanted the front embossed, I had to put the card front in upside down in the folder, so it needed to be a pattern that looked good going either direction. Anything else would just look upside down :)
I added a die cut paper bow to finish. Here's a look at the inside. The embossed card front also gives a nice look to the top of the inside.
Thanks so much for stopping by! Have a great weekend!Supplies:
stamps: DRS Designs - Pine Bough, Christmas Everyday, (inside - From My House)
paper: Staples 110# white
ink: Memento tuxedo black, cottage ivy, northern pine, Distress inks candy apple, fired brick, twisted citron, mowed lawn
accessories: Misti, MFT diagonal stitched rectangles, Sizzix embossing folder (Alpine set 658191), ODBD small bow die
