Stained Glass Tutorial

in 4 easy steps!

Step 1: Choosing your stamps
I'm working with our Small Rectangle Stained Glass and our Polka Dot Flower Trio.  Keep in mind that your 2nd image needs to have plenty of coloring space for this to work.

Step 2:  Stamping

Stamp the stained glass rectangle and then stamp your second image right on top using the same ink.  I used black dye ink.

Step 3:  Coloring

Color in your second image first using the appropriate colors.  Then choose 1-3 coordinating colors for the background.  I chose to keep it simple by just using 1 shade of blue since there was already a lot of color in the flower image.

Step 4:  Mounting

I kept my background rather simple as well, wanting to keep the focus on the stained glass!

That's it - pretty simple right??

Thanks so much for visiting!
