Good morning!
DRS stamps: 461G Lighthouse, New Release Summer Story, 473F 4 in 1 Sea Shells, 1114D Sand snow -water -lines
The sailboat is a die from Memory Box and the sunglasses are (was) a button I cut the shank off of.I made the clouds with a torn paper towel, Brilliance Ink and sponge. I added Liquid Applique to the shoreline and puffed it up with a heat gun. I cut the water lines and stuck my boat under on both sides. The shells were colored and cut out then glued to the frame on top of some gauze.
So, the story of this summer scene is in the heart of a 16 year old girl who met her first love on this shoreline. She was wearing her fashionable yellow sunglasses and a very cute swimsuit with cover-up as she walked along the shoreline looking for sea shells. When she looked up to her surprise was a very cute guy standing just a little way off, watching her...turns out it was the Lighthouse keeper's son and you guessed it, he was 16 too and he was there for the summer working with his father at the lighthouse. It is probably a good thing she was only there for a week since they were NOT old enough to get serious, right? Well, they spent every waking hour together and when she had to go home, they were both heart broken, but then, that is what makes a good summer story isn't it!!
Thanks for visiting today!
