Hula Pig Trifold

Happy Friday!
I hope your week has gone well! And yes, this is my card from yesterday's challenge but seriously, it's such a fun fold, I thought a few extra pics & some measurements might help anyone trying this fold.
This fold is so easy & it doesn't take any more card stock than a normal A2 (5.50 x 4.25) card! That's the part I like the best. So to begin, take a 4.25w x 11h piece of card stock..score it at 4.25 & 8.50. Fold it so that the short end is the top (right below the hula pig). Now take a circle die or punch (I used about a 2 1/4" die) & place the half way mark of the die at the top of the fold & cut. Make sure it's half way or your circle will not be round. You can put it in the middle, but I chose to do it slightly off center.  Also, please note that on my card, I only cut thru the top & bottom sections..the area where the bottom of the hula pig circle is, is not cut through.
So I put the card into my Misti, stamped the beach scene on the bottom, colored it, then stamped it again w/ the card folded so the scene would continue as one. Above, is how it looks w/ the very top open..below, is how it looks totally open. I stamped & fussy cut one extra palm tree & added a stamped, colored circle behind it  to act as the closure when it's all folded up.
And here are the Copics I used..I know, a boatload, lol.
Thanks so much for stopping by! Have a great weekend!
