The Heart of Christmas
>> Monday, November 23, 2015
Hope everyone had a great weekend. We had our first snow here in Northwest Ohio Saturday and woke up to a gorgeous scene Sunday morning. A fresh snow fall really makes everything outside look so clean and beautiful.
Today I have a Christmas card that features our Baby Jesus Heart image that was release a couple of months ago along with a new Jesus Heart Postage Frame. I really enjoy adding something to my envelops and this new image is perfect.
I started by stamping the Baby Jesus Heart image and sentiment in black ink on white CS. I colored the image with Copics and then fussy cut it. A heart die was used to cut the sentiment. The light blue panel was stamped with the Interlocking hearts background stamp with VersaMark ink, die cut with Nestie border dies and layered on dark blue CS. The bow was made with a MS punch. After punching several bows, I glued them together for dimension and added a rhinestone. A couple of heart shaped rhinestones were added to the corners. Here's a closer look at the card.
For the envelop I stamped the Jesus Heart Postage Frame in the upper right hand corner with black ink, then colored the image with coloring pencils.

Very sweet card! I love all the hearts and the matching envelope :) That scalloped punch is simply awesome...I need to get that one too.
You have created a beautiful set. Love all the added hearts.
What a sweet card! Love how you used a 2nd heart for the sentiment and your little bow is perfect in the center!
