Thinking Pink

>> Wednesday, October 14, 2015

My card today is my tribute to Breast Cancer Month.  Breast Cancer has significantly impacted my family.  My cousin had her second surgery this past Friday, and my Mother is fighting her second battle as well.  These two women are so admirable - they face each day with a smile, and refuse to let the cancer take control of their lives.

This Cancer is Greeting is very powerful - I think it is worth reading every day.  After stamping the image, I added some hand drawn/cut pink feathers to honor the warrior spirit of the women who battle Breast Cancer.  I colored the feathers with Distress Ink and Frantage.

Hugz,

Nancy

I love your pink feathers and I do believe that it represents the warrior, which is what we have to be to fight against cancer!
