Happy Friday!
I hope your week has gone well! Don't know about you, but I've really been enjoying the cooler temps lately. Shouldn't be long before all the leaves turn. Since the many, many trees in my yard & the woods behind us are all hardwoods, they all turn colors & loose their leaves....just different colors & different times. Some years, when the weather is dry & cold, the colors are really brilliant. I'm hoping for that this year.
For my spooky/funny Halloween card today, I planned on using this funny greeting, but I wanted to pair it with an unexpected image. And unlike most scary movies, I know crows are not scary. They're more funny than anything. We have a family of crows that visit every morning & the one I nicknamed Junior (he's less than a year old) found a little utility marker flag in a flower bed & he's been using it as a toy. He tries to bend it down & stand on it then it springs back up and most times, knocks him over. The first time hubby saw him do it, he thought Junior was having a spasm until I told him what was going on. So I thought I'd put our crow (raven) image on a broomstick instead of the branch he's usually sitting on. I stamped, colored & fussy cut the crow, the broomstick & the witch's hat.
I used a circle mask for the moon & sponged in the purple sky w/ clouds, then used a reverse mask to sponge in the yellow moon. Some little bats were stamped in the sky & off the crow goes for a midnight ride. Here's a look at the inside & below it are the Copics I used.
Thanks so much for stopping by! Have a great weekend & don't forget to check out the DRS Thursday Challenge...this week, it's a color challenge w/ some great fall colors.

What a great idea Julie! Never would have thought of it in a million! Love the broom and that crow is amazing!
Such and exceptional card! I love your creative use of stamps and your background sky is simply wow!
Julie, you are indeed the queen of stamping!! What an awesome card today! Sadly, we don't have any goofy crows in our yard to entertain us, but your card has made up for that today!
So funny I love it. Perfect card.
Wow Julie, I love your sky and this great raven. Wouldn't it be scary to see birds on brooms! This card is spooky and unexpected and totally cool! So well done. Hugz
Beautiful purple sky for your funny crow to be flying around in! Love that you paired this sentiment with the crow!
I'd love to see Junior in action!!
