Splattered Butterflies?
>> Saturday, July 4, 2015
Good morning! Happy 4th of July!
Confused by my title? Well, I splattered my paper then stamped and cut out my butterflies...Splattered Butterflies!
DRS stamps used: 744F Three Butterflies, 399G Butterfly Kisses,192G Large Single Butterfly, 1023M Bloomin Huge Flower, 182D Single Flying Butterfly.
This is the inside of my card using some of the same stamps.
I stamped and masked the large flower three times and colored them three different colors (these are hybrid daisies, lol). I then used a Spellbinder Bracket border punch (two together) to create the bottom along with what was cut off at the very bottom. My butterflies were stamped on the sheet of paper that I splattered, dripped and sponged with color. I stamped in black and then cut them out. and popped them up. I stamped them on the card itself too so I wouldn't have to cut out the little anteni. I used black beads for the bodies.
Inside I stamped with colored ink, the flower and two of the butterflies used on the front. I stamped the sentiment in black. Pretty simple!
Thanks for stopping by today and have a great weekend!
Robin
