Picnic time

Good morning!
This week's challenge is stitches, faux or real...I have a bit of each here.
I used a border die by Spellbinder with stitch marks and the rectangle image die is from Die-namics. I stitched around the border panel, before gluing it to my card base, with a zigzag stitch on my sewing machine.
What a nice picnic basket they have here but oh my gosh, those ants are about ready to get into it. They must smell that watermelon down below I think. Uh oh!
Did anyone bring some ant powder?
Well, I just had to do a picnic card in July, tis the time to get out and enjoy the lake or river and you have to bring food of course, and especially if you have a man with you!!! Wouldn't this make a great invitation too? I think for a special group of friends...maybe a potluck??? This card was fast and easy, you could do several in no time at all!
I hope you are having a great weekend and maybe you're even out having a picnic somewhere. Enjoy!

Robin, this is so cute - great colors and great sketch you used. I would love to go on a picnic today but I would have to drive to Alaska to be able to stand the heat. Love the images! Fun! Hugz
Lovely card - love both types of stitching on your card - nice creation
