It's Spring...

>> Tuesday, May 5, 2015

Hi Everyone,

I live in northeast Ohio, and we had the coldest February on record!  My neighbors rented a house and spent February and March in Florida for the first time since they retired, and they couldn't have picked a better year for doing that.  When I say it was cold, you know you can believe me :)  There is no one on earth that is more happy that it's spring, than yours truly.

So with that, I give you today's card share with an adorable sentiment (Spring Bee Happy Greeting) that pairs with Happy Bee.  Franky, that bee is me; big smile, glittery wings and all ;)

My background was made using the Honeycomb Design stamp, Memento Tuxedo Black ink and Copic markers.  The bottom portion was stamped with the greeting and the Bee Trail, and then I dry embossed it with a Hexagon embossing folder by Darice.  I finished it off by adding a piece of lace trim to cover up the seam.

I just love the color yellow at any time of year...it's super cheerful!

Thanks for visiting today!

A happy card for a happy day! Although I just complained it was too hot in here :) Never happy I guess!

Love your background! The shading on your honeycombs is wonderful and the bee train next to the saying is genius!!
