Happy Friday!
And Happy first day of May! I was going to say May Day, but well, you know..I didn't want the Coast Guard showing up or anything. I hope your week has gone well! I had to interrupt my regularly scheduled new image card making because 2 of my hubby's nephews are graduating this month. Don't even ask how many he has..I don't think he even knows, lol. He's 3rd youngest of a total of 12 kids! But anyway, Grad cards were definitely needed & I just love this Grad Boy image. The only changes were the colors..I used their school colors. Scarlet & gray for one, blue & orange for the other. I did sneak in one new greeting  Sun Shine Bright) so there's that!
I also found a great use for my new Misti purchase. I kept hearing all the great things about and even though I wasn't sure what all that was about I was just sure I needed it! So how I used here was I positioned the Grad Boy image w/ the card stock below it. Stamped it once w/ the Memento, left it in place & colored it w/ Copics. Then I inked it again and stamped it w/ the Versafine. Since the Versafine & Copics don't mix stamping it first w/ Memento allowed me to color then overstamping w/ the Versafine gave me the rich dark look I wanted for the solid black parts.

The Congrats Label (behind greeting) was stamped w/ charcoal ink on the gray version & Morocco ink on the blue version. Here's a look at the inside of the gray version. The other is the same, just orange & blue.
And these are the Copics I used. Same deal..blue/orange for that one & red for the other. I used the same grays & skin tones on both.

Thanks so much for stopping by! Have a great weekend! And don't forget to check out the DRS Thursday Challenge...Put it in Neutral!
