Happy Monday!

Our weather is warming up and I'm so excited to see sunshine and even some spots of grass! It'll take a while for all the snow to disappear, but spring is definitely on its way! And that always makes me think Easter. Easter and Christmas are my favorite holidays and my favorite cards to create. So today I'm sharing an Easter card with you.
I started by cutting the tag with my Cricut machine. I really should use that machine more often!! Once cut, I stamped the three crosses with Memento Black ink, colored with copics, masked the image and sponged in Bashful Blue ink for the sky. Some brown twine was added to the top of the tag. The sentiment was stamped in Memento Black ink, die cut, layered on a green scalloped nestie, then later cut to fit on the card. The brown layer was embossed with a wood grain folder, which goes perfectly with the crosses. Next I die cut a green frame, punched the Bashful Blue flowers and put the card together. It doesn't look exactly like I envisioned, but I do like it.
Be sure to check out this week's challenge to use buttons on your card. We'd love to have you play along.
Thanks for stopping by today,

Beautiful! I love the light blue and green color combo and how the rosses were stamped on a tag. Nice job!
Beautiful! I love the brown wood grain layer in back of the crosses - adds the right amount of drama and flair!
Love that you used a tag for the crosses and the embossing on the background is perfect. Don't you love it when a card takes on a life on it's own.
What a cute card! Love your layout and colors!
Very pretty Shelia! Love the crosses on the tag!
Lovely card and I really like the image made into a tag :) Those flowers are so sweet too...Yay for spring!
So lovely, Shelia! Your tag is wonderful w/ the crosses and little flowers on the side. The woodgrain bg is perfect w/ the wood crosses.
