Cupcake Birthday

Happy Friday!

I hope your week has gone well and you're enjoying a nice first week of spring! Trees & (some) flowers have started blooming here...just in time for another cold front with lows in the 20's! Plants are confused and so am I. Just located my fave pair of capri jeans and now I have to drag out the long pants & sweatshirts again. Or maybe I just have to wash them...right, like you don't say "oh, it's warmer, I'll just wait until next week to wash those".

Anyway, DRS Designs has a very cute, big grin piggie coming out and this is him! And a fun "Hey, Cupcake!" greeting. So as I'm putting my card together, I start thinking...I need a cupcake for him. What to do? I started looking at my punches, figuring I should be able to put something together. And turns out I did have a couple that worked. The bottom of the cupcake is a little teacup punch. I cut off the handle and drew a few lines to make the cake part. The frosting part is a little cloud punch and I drew a few lines to look like frosting. I had a little candle punch, so that was handy. I think it worked out perfectly! 

The Wordy Birthday greeting was stamped 3 times on the background & my cupcake bearing pig was added on top. I used a black glaze pen to add the 3 black dots in the lower right corner. The finished card is 4.25 x 5.50 and these are the Copics I used.
