Winter Thank You

>> Friday, January 9, 2015

Hi Everyone,

I'm sharing one of my winter themed thank you cards that I sent out for my Christmas gifts this year.  If I think about them too long, or do anything too complicated, my best intentions never make it to the mailbox!  Therefore, my design is pretty simple.   I stamped my background with the
Interlocking Snow and added a strip of embossed snowflakes to the bottom, covering where they meet with a bit of lace.

I stamped the New Medium Mr. Snowman in navy ink and fussy cut him out, attaching him to the card with some foam tape.  I thought about coloring his carrot nose orange, that wouldn't have taken much time, but in the end decided to keep it monochromatic after all.

All that was left was to add the Brush Thank You stamped in the corner and I was good too go!  It's always nice to be reminded that you don't HAVE to color every open lined stamp to make a cute card :)

Thanks for peeking in!  Be sure to stop by the DRS Designs store and check out the new releases!

Super card, Karin! Super cute and super simple - love it! (also, it's got a snowman and it's blue. Two of my favorite things!)

Lovely card, Karin! Love how you felt it wasn't necessary to color the snowman! It's perfect on this clean and simple card.
