Fill Up On Love

Happy Friday!
I hope your week has gone well and you don't have to dig out from the recent snow in the northeast. I suppose I should post a snowman card in sympathy for those frozen folks...but we've had a decent winter so far down here in the south. It freezes at night, but except for one week with single digit temps, it hasn't been near as bad as last winter. It's been mostly in the low 40's during the day, so I'm not complaining.

For my Valentine card, this looks simple enough, but I ended up having to do parts of it 3 times! Ever have one of "those" days? I always worry when things seem to be going too smoothly. Sigh...it would be great to be wrong for a change. The Love part was masked and stamped perfectly...colored in (to look like the letter were filling up), die cut, then the first bad thing happened. Some random black smudge ruined the background. So on to plan B..cut out the letters, stamp a background with the hearts, die cut again and attach the letters on top. Then the second bad thing happened. Another phantom smudge ruined the letter L. So, stamped it again, cut it out and used and replaced the original. Thank goodness the the rest of the card was free from errant smudges. I kept thinking I needed to add more, but finally decided to quit while I was ahead.

Thanks so much for stopping by and have a great weekend!

AWESOME!! Incredible how you "filled" the letters AND used a heart as the "O"! Love the clean look of the rest of the card too!
