Brrrrr...Baby It's Cold Outside
>> Saturday, December 6, 2014
Hello everyone and happy Saturday to you all!
It looks cold doesn't it? Yes, with icicles and a frozen pond, I think it might be cold! But the kids love it, can't you tell? They are out there having so much fun!!
One of them is about to fall but the others are doing tricks and ice dancing. Before they got on the ice they decided to build a snowman...Cute isn't he?
DRS stamps used: 105H Christmas Village Pond with Bridge, 119D Christmas Village 4 in 1 accessories, 320H Pine Tree Snow Drift, 646D Christmas Blessings, 862H Icicles.
I started with white and stamped my skating pond then masked it and stamped my Pine tree Snow Drift. I stamped the snowman then stamped the ice skaters separately along with the Christmas Blessings. I die cut the Christmas Blessings and threaded sheer aqua ribbon through it. I colored my scene and the little ice skaters with Copic Markers. I masked off my pond and bridge again and splattered the sky with white acrylic paint and a tooth brush. I cut out the ice skaters and glued them to the pond. One is falling down and the other two are hand in hand doing tricks. My frame is a Spellbinder die (as well as the sentiment die). and then I glued the icicles to the top and glittered. The trees and top of the bridge are also glittered.
I love this skating pond!! It is so country!
Thanks for stopping by on a busy Saturday!!
Now go get crafty!

This is so adorable, Robin! Such a fun winter scene you've created. Although, that one guy looks like he needs a bit more practice!
I can feel the cold from here! And I swear I hear those kids laughing too! I love how you die cut your scene and then added the icicles - a frosty wonderland!!
What a pretty & fun card! Love all the wntery details & the one skater looking like he's falling. That would be me if I were out on that frozen pond!
