Sweet Apples

Happy Friday!
I hope your week has gone well! We're in between releases right now so I thought I'd take the time to catch up on some birthday cards. I know I'm going to need a bunch for late summer and fall and I think these apples look delish! Love coloring them! To me these look like red delicious so that's the way I colored them. After coloring, I fussy cut them to add to my kraft panel. For some reason I usually think of a kraft background when I see these apples. My layout is pretty CAS...but I'm pretty sure I get extra points for using part of an image in a way that wasn't intended. See the border? It's part of a larger image, meant for the back of a card or an envelope. I inked just one of the borders of it and stamped around the edges then used a white gel pen to accent it.

I added a couple more die cut layers and the birthday greeting was stamped above the apples. The finished card is 5.50 x 4.25 and these are the Copics I used.

Thanks so much for stopping by! Have a great weekend!
Supplies:
ink: Memento tuxedo black
paper: X-Press It white, kraft
accessories: Copic markers, white gel pen, stitched layer dies, Perfect Paper Crafting mini rulers
