Thank You...

Welcome!

I've been finding myself in need of Thank You's lately and I loved how this one came out!

I stamped our Dogwood Branch twice in the center of a white piece of card stock and drew a black line right across the middle.  Coloring all the black was a little time consuming since I had to go over it several times for a smooth look, but I think it was worth it.  I used mostly grey for the flowers, but left a few pieces white as well.  I finished my main panel by stamping just the Thank You portion of our Box of Chocolates stamp and trimmed it using a nestie oval and before removing the die I traced the inside using a black pen, then layered it with a black nestie scalloped oval.

At this point I had a wonderful monochromatic thing going on and my plan was to continue it by adhering it to a black or white folded card.  However, my 8 year old son took one look and said it needed a little something...."add some pink" he told me, and darned if he wasn't right!

Thanks for stopping by!
