Stained Glass Shamrock

>> Saturday, February 8, 2014

It seems as though every holiday, I pull out my "Large Stained Glass" stamp from DRS Designs.  It is so versatile.  Today I am showing a card that showcases a stained glass shamrock.

To make this card, I found a shamrock line drawing on the internet.  I printed this image onto Hammermill Digital Copy Cover cardstock and cut around the image. I  the "Large Stained Glass" background directly onto the shamrock with Memento Tuxedo Black.  I colored the shamrock with Copic markers.  I adhered a piece of acetate over the shamrock and cut around the shamrock (sorry the photo doesn't really show the shine of the "glass").

I placed the shamrock onto a white panel of cardstock, and added a bright green ribbon and bow.

The sentiment is a portion of DRS Designs "1 Line Luck of the Irish" that I inked with a Memento Tuxedo Black marker.

Have a wonderful weekend!

Saturday Smiles,
Kecia

I thought you used a die for this, and I was going to ask where it was from. Clever, clever you! The stained glass stamp really makes the card!
