Trust everyone had a great weekend. For those of you who were hit by the bitter cold weather recently, hope you are thawing out!! I don't think I've ever experienced cold like that before!!
Today I have a Valentine card to share with you made with pink and black CS. I really like that color combo. The black makes the pink really pop!
I started with a white card base, added a layer of black and then the pink layer that was stamped with the
Silhouette Love Heart in VersaMark ink. A black gingham ribbon was added before attaching it to the card base. The main image,
Heart Drops, was stamped in Memento Black ink on white CS, colored with Copics and cut with a deckle blade on an old paper cutter that I've had for years. I don't even know the brand or where I got it. This panel is layered on the same pink and black CS. The
sentiment was stamped with Memento Black ink on pink CS, die cut with a Nestie heart and layered on a black die cut heart. Some pink rhinestones finish it off. Hope you like it!
This week's
challenge is to use a boy or girl image on your card. You've still got a couple of days to join in the fun. We'd love to see what you create!!
Thanks for stopping by today.
Until next week,
shelia

How pretty in pink, Shelia! Love the dangling hearts and checked ribbon.
It's the ribbon that sells it for me :) And your deckle edge may be old, but it works perfectly with this!
Very sweet card for Valentine's day! I love hearts on the background paper and your perfectly placed gem embellishments!
