Happy Friday!
Is Christmas coming too fast, or what? Usually by now I feel I have a handle on things, but this year...no handle, no way. Probably because my niece's wedding was last weekend..in another state. It was lovely, but I'm sure having to cram now. Feels like the test I didn't study for.

But at least I have a winter time birthday card for my sister in law. Yay! And some Christmas cards to mail. Now if I only had the envelopes finished. My skating card is pretty easy. After stamping and coloring w/ Copics, I did do a little out of the box treatment on the top. The grey heather background was embossed and I used a white Permapaque marker to highlight the raised areas. A couple of cobalt blue layers and a little rhinestone, and my 4.25 x 5.50 card was finished. Wish I could say the same for my Christmas shopping and wrapping and card mailing! Only a handful of Copics were used and here are the colors:

Thanks so much for stopping by! Have a great weekend!

p.s.  Have you checked out the new DRS Designs website? Zippedee Do Da!! Fabulous! And while you're checking things out, the DRS Thursday Challenge this week is ANYTHING GOES! So link your creation up!

Cool Card Julie!! You always make the "out of the box" technique look so easy and natural I don't even notice it until I read it and then I say "That's why it looks so cool!" I also love how you colored the tops of the bumps - changes the look completely!
