Not just a card....

>> Wednesday, November 13, 2013

Welcome!

By now almost everyone has heard about "Rainbow Looms" and most of the population  is walking around with at least 1 rubber band bracelet.  My son has made them in so many shapes and colors his arm isn't long enough to hold them all!  I'll also admit I've made more than a few myself.  That got me thinking..... what if I combined card making with bracelet making????  How fun to have a holiday project for the whole family?

I choose to use holiday colors which will hopefully spur me on to get them in the mail a little earlier this year!

The card itself was pretty easy.  I stamped our Holly Leaves in the top right corner and colored them with markers.  I did a little modifying of our Gift Card for You stamp by taking out the "card" and then stamped it in red ink and after trimming it to size I added the dot and dash border.

The white stripes on the red layer were scraps of paper lying on my desk and I attached all to a folded white card that I stamped with our Polka Dot Background using more red ink.

The bracelet is just looped around the red card stock for easy removal.

Thanks for stopping by!

Sue
