For Your Shower

Happy Friday!
I hope you're having a great week! Today, I'm taking a short break from fall, Halloween & Christmas cards. I have a very important Wedding Shower to go to tomorrow and I wanted a special card to go with the gift. Yep, my niece is getting married in December. Where does the time go? I remember when she was just a tiny baby and fascinated by the ceiling fan and now she's all grown up! I guess boys were bound to replace ceiling fans eventually, lol. Now she's found THE ONE!
My niece and her fiancee decided to have a couples shower and I wanted to make a girly card, lol. So I compromised and used pink for her and gray as the masculine counterpart. I did add some ribbon, but no bows. For the background, I stamped the umbrella in gray and pink before embossing it with a dot folder. The umbrella was stamped twice and colored with Copics. I die cut the base image and fussy cut the other to pop up on top for some dimension. The sentiment was die cut and a gray layer was fussy cut around it. I added some stacked ribbons and tied the top one with some little pearl stems I found the bridal section of my local craft store. The finished card is 4.25 x 5.50.

Thanks so much for stopping by! Be sure to check out our Thursday Challenge....The Eyes Have It!
