Teacher Pinwheel

Happy Friday!
It's already May and probably a good time to think about those grad cards and teacher thank you cards. If you're like me, there are always those special teachers you never forget. The ones who did more than just teach...they taught you something (or a lot of somethings) that always stick with you, or they showed a special interest or kindness that touched you. This card is for those teachers.

I white embossed the polka dot background on the kraft paper and stamped the greeting on the white using the cocoa ink. The teacher tools was stamped on a separate piece of kraft and I used Prismacolor pencils to add color before I cut them out. The pinwheel was really fun to make. I kept seeing them everywhere and after looking at numerous dies used to cut them, I realized I could make one without a die. Here's a little Pinwheel Tutorial I did in case you want to see for yourself how easy they are to make. I added a little piercing above and below my royal blue panel and my 5.50 x 4.25 card was finished.

Thanks so much for stopping by! Have a great weekend!
