Snow on Pines

Happy Friday!
I hope your week has been great! Can you believe it's already mid-February??For this card, I'm using the fabulous Silhouette Majestic Pines. I white embossed them on some cobalt blue card stock, then used a torn paper mask to add some white embossed "snow drifts". This is one of those cards that started out along a much different line, and the blue panel was much wider. But as it evolved, I ended up cutting the panel down and adding three snowflakes on the upper left with the blue ink and the greeting on a separate panel below it. I added some stickles to the moon and snowflakes and if I'd waited until it dried, it wouldn't look so puffed up, lol. But apparently I have the patience of a gnat when it comes to watching paint or stickles or ink dry. Believe me, if I could have I would have used a heat tool. But been there, done that, and it didn't end well. The finished card is 4.25 x 5.50.
Thanks so much for stopping by! May all your stickles dry quickly!

Very pretty card, Julie. It looks so peaceful!!
What a beautiful, snowy scene! Perfect greeting for the front of this card too...I'm sure there are legions of no patience crafters out there who can relate...I'm one of them :)
I was wondering how/what you did to get the moon to pop - I decided it was a blinged up brad :)
I love the monochrome blue/white you've got going on - very dramatic!!
So beautiful....brilliant idea to emboss these trees in white! Lovely colors....my other comment went into cyberspace, I think!
