Have a Spooktacular Evening!

>> Wednesday, October 31, 2012

Hi Everyone,

It's Karin posting today with a final card in honor of Halloween.  Hopefully those of you in the storms path, didn't receive too much damage.  Around here, all the schools around here have been closed, we personally had power go on and off at least a half a dozen times yesterday. My husband finally made it to work after changing his driving route 3 times due to flooding, and downed trees and power lines.  Let's just say, I'm personally feeling very grateful after watching the national news, so my thoughts got out to those who have lost so much.

My card is straight forward with a base stamped with the Interlocking Stars background, and the Witches Brew Greeting and Burning Cauldron colored up and placed on top.

Unfortunately, due to FrankenStorm Sandy, our trick or treat has been rescheduled for the weekend. At least it was rescheduled...It's never a good thing to leave me with that much chocolate in the house :)

Happy Halloween!

great Halloween card, Karin. Your coloring looks awesome on the cauldron and fire!

Glad to hear you survived Sandy and didn't get much damage. We had some snow and sleet mixed in with the rain and wind here in Toledo, but nothing serious!!

You, my friend...are so funny. I can relate to the candy thing. I am on a strict diet so I waited until Monday to buy my candy. Our trick or treat is always on Halloween. We weren't affected by Sandy....it is going to be 73 here today! I love that you used the interlocking stars bg with this Halloween image. I will have to remember that!

Terrific card Karin! Wonderful job coloring the cauldron, and I love how the black layer makes both pop!
