Super Sweet Watermelon

Happy Friday!
With this hot, hot summer, doesn't a little cold, sweet watermelon sound good? Watermelon is one of my fave things about summer. So I really love this new watermelon border image. After stamping it, I colored it markers. The different colored strips were embossed w/ a checkerboard embossing folder, trimmed and attached next to each other on top and underneath the watermelon. For the sentiment, I used a stamp positioner to combine the parts of two sentiments on the red card stock. I used an oval die to cut it and the two colors of green (for the rind) and a scallop oval die to cut the top to look like big bites. The "seeds" were made with a black glaze pen. I made white dots on black card stock and used a 1/2 inch circle punch to cut them then placed clear epoxy stickers on top. The finished card is 5.50 x 4.25.
Thanks so much for stopping by! Have a great weekend and try to stay cool!
