Hogwash

>> Tuesday, June 5, 2012

Hi Everyone,

DRS Designs recently released this cute piggy stamp, named Pig in a Puddle (Even the name is cute!) and I couldn't wait to ink him up.  I colored him with Copics and die cut him out.  The background consists of dry embossing and paper made using Lines O Plenty in peach ink and Easy Dot background in brown.

The Hogwash sentiment seemed the perfect fit and it was attached using some pop dots. A line of printed ribbon and a few scattered buttons were all that I used as far as embellishments go.  I thought I would try and keep it on the masculine side.  I know this will bring a smile to the lucky recipients face!

Thanks for stopping by to visit, and remember to play along in our challenges every Thursday here on the blog!

Karin, you have colored your pig so beautifully - great shading! I like the background paper you've created too. Cute masculine birthday card!
