Sympathy Dogwoods

by Julie Warner - The Write Stuff
Other than some fussy cutting, this is a pretty simple card. After stamping and coloring, I fussy cut the dogwoods and chickadee and arranged them in my mega oval opening. The oval was die cut out of the white and I stamped the greeting in the lower right then embossed it w/ the embossing folder so I could line up the embossed lines. The finished card is 5.50 x 4.25.

Thanks so much for stopping by! Have a great weekend!

Stamps: DRS Designs – Bird on Branch (chickadee), Deepest Sympathy, Dogwood Branch
Paper: Neenah white
Ink: Ancient Page coal
Accessories: Spellbinders mega oval, Paper Studio journaling embossing folder, Tombow markers

I am completely amazed by your fussy cutting. So perfect. I wonder how you kept it from braking? Lovely, Julie!

This is so incredible! I love your write up "Other than some fussy cutting..."What a beautiful card! I'm also amazed how cutting off the stem really changed the look of the flowers. You're the bomb!!
