Be of Good Courage

>> Tuesday, April 10, 2012

Hi Everyone,

I have a simple faith based card for you today.  I always appreciate having some stamps with Bible verses on them in my stash.  This newly released Be of Good Courage from Psalms is perfect when you need to make a card to encourage a friend or loved one during a difficult time.

I kept it simple and embossed the verse and cut it out with my oval Nestabilites die, adding some shadow with chalk.  I stamped the serene Sea Grass and added some sandy glitter to make it look like the beach along the bottom of the card.

I used two different matching ribbons, a dragonfly charm and a couple of gems to finish the card.

Thanks for stopping by!
Karin

Karin, This is such a splendid, beautiful creation. The verse is beautiful the way you've showcased it with the chalk, great grass and the sand is perfect....best of all, the ribbons and dragonfly charm. Sure to bring comfort.
