Love Birds

Happy Friday! It just turned really, really cold here so this little early spring Valentine card looks very inviting. I guess I shouldn't complain...it's been a very mild winter so far.
The little love birds were punched out of water color paper and a little color added. I punched their wings out of some left over w/c paper that had part of the heart tree stamped on it. For the scene, after I added a water color wash of green for the ground and blue for the sky, I stamped the Valentine tree and easy grass background. I drew in the little heart flowers and added some color with markers.
The blue and green backgrounds were embossed w/ a little hearts folder and I added a border punched fence and some tiny little punched flowers and cut out hearts on top of the fence. The sentiment (part of love you to the moon sentiment.) The finished card is 4.25 x 5.50.Supplies:

I love the scene you created, looks just like a painting! So pretty :) I'm with ya, even though winter has been really mild, I'm done. Ready for spring!
Julie, your card is amazing! I love the way you colored the hearts on your tree. They have so much dimension. The scene is lovely too. Your little flower hearts and those love birds on the fence are darling.
