Happy Friday!
I hope y'all checked out the DRS Thursday Challenge! There are some wonderful prizes up for grabs and all you have to do is use some polka dots and link it up to this Post. Easy peasy! After finishing my polka dot DT entry yesterday, I still had the ink, stamps and embossing powder out, so I used some of them again today. For the main image, I stamped the wonderful new (Nestie friendly) Oval Design Cut out, added some color w/ markers and die cut it using a lg petite oval die. The greeting was die cut w/ a sm petite oval and attached on top. I had some leftover white embossed polka dots, so I just stamped the greeting on top.

For the background, I used a frame embossing folder on some mint green c/s but before I ran it thru the embossing machine, I rubbed sky blue ink over the flat side of the embossing folder. I like the mottled, varying colors it gave me. When it dried, I used a VersaMark pen on the raised design and heat embossed w/ white powder. The snowflakes were also white embossed in the corners. It's attached to a 5.50 x 4.25 white card.
Thanks so much for looking! Have a great weekend and don't forget to check out the DRS Thursday Challenge!

Lovely card. I really like the way you did the background.
Wonderful Card Julie!! I love the background and your white embossing! A very "snowy" card without being at all Christmassy.
Beautiful card! I love that the sentiment and frame fit on the embossed background so well! And thanks for reminding me about a technique I need to try! Lovely :)
This is such a gorgeous creation. Your attention to detail always amazes me! Love your colors and the effect you achieved with the ink and folder.
