A Weathered Silent Night
>> Saturday, November 5, 2011
Good morning! Can you believe that it is November already? Just today, I've decided I am going to cherish every moment of the holidays and not worry about all the hoopla...sit back and relax. I hope I make that my motto!
My card today features our Silent Night Sheet Music and Snowflake Scroll. I stamped the sheet music in soft suede onto parchment cardstock, sponged the edges with soft suede and then laid the image onto the versamark pad covering it with ink and then put only one layer of UTEE on it....to give it more of a not so uniform, wet look. Next, I bent it and sponged cherry cobbler onto the bent areas. That image is on dimensionals. I stamped the scroll in soft suede and placed that layer on soft suede cardstock. All layers were distressed.
Dare I say, it is beginning to look a lot like Chrismtas? We are expecting more snow here in Colorado!
Have a great weekend!
Pam
