Happy Friday!
Have y'all been enjoying all the Christmas cards lately? I just love Christmas cards. Love to look at them, love to make them, love to mail them. Every time I see a pretty Christmas card, it gives me an idea for making one. Or when I see a new embossing folder, a new image, really everything gives me ideas. So today I have two cards to share. The first one is pretty clean and simple and the second one is just a tad more involved. For the first card, I picked up a new embossing folder that I love and since it has a blank space built in, I thought a pretty greeting would fit perfectly. I added an embossed snowflake that I cut out on the left along with a die cut snowflake and a button. A few more buttons and a narrow ribbon were the only other embellishments.

For the second card, I die cut a circle out of scratch paper and used it for a reverse mask. I inked the image w/ markers to get the colors I wanted and stamped the scene inside the mask and added part of the trees in the foreground. The circle was traced around the scene using the cut out circle from the mask as a guide. On the red frame, I die cut the next larger size circle then embossed the dots. The trees on top were die cut as was the sentiment. I added some stickles to the trees and snow and used a white gel pen on the sentiment.
I hope you enjoyed these and maybe they'll give you ideas for your own Christmas cards. Thanks so much for stopping by! Have a great weekend!

Julie, your cards are always so beautiful. I love looking at your creations!!
Both of these are beauties. Your first card is like an ornate candy cane. Love how you framed the scene in the second.
Wonderful Cards!! I always love a card with a frame, and your first card may be simple to do, but it sure doesn't look it!
The dry embossing on your first card is so beautiful and the sentiment is right at home on it. I love your layered snowflake too. The second card is fantastic, the coloring on the scene in the window is marvelous and I love the overall design!
Two wonderful cards here Julie! I love how delicate your first card is and the second sets such a lovely scene! Gorgeous!
Julie - Each detail on your first card throws in a crisp bit of winter JOY - absolutely DELIGHTFUL!!! Your second card is such a lovely wintery scene - love the tree dies with the added stickles!
