Winter Cheer

Hi Everyone,
There are so many new Christmas and winter themed stamps recently released here at DRS Designs, I was having a hard time deciding what to show off today on the blog. This card showcases the new Icicles border stamp, along with lots of others from the current catalog. I always think blue and white is a great color combo for winter, so I stuck with that when working on this card.
The background was stamped with the Large Filigree Snowflake, and I've really been into penguins this year, so I stamped the cute Skating Penguin along with the Snowflakes and Winter Cheer sentiment. The penguin (Aren't the blue ice skates fun?!) was fussy cut and attached with a pop dot.
My embellishments I chose were some glossy effects on the icicles and the three shiny dome stickers along the border. I think this card is super cheerful and I would even send this to someone wishing them a Happy New Year :)

Love this done in blue and white! I think the blue ice skates are the bomb and I would happily get this out of my mailbox!
