Happy Friday!
Some stores (no names) have had Christmas stuff up since August! I went in one local craft store and they had full on Christmas isles stocked before Labor Day! To me, that's just too early. But I'm a procrastinator deluxe. I used to hold out for December to shop, but the last few years I've done the Black Friday thing. It's mayhem for sure but at least I usually accomplish 90% of my list on one day. The only exception is Christmas cards. I love to see Christmas cards pretty much any time of year. So welcome to a sneak peek of some new Christmas images from DRS Designs! I won't tease you for weeks on end, these will be available tomorrow!
For my card, I kept it fairly simple. The background is an embossing folder and I added a little doodling around the edge w/ a gold gel pen. For the wonderful sentiment ornament, I colored the stamp w/ red and green markers before stamping it. I die cut it and the green layer w/ the same ornament die, then trimmed inside the embossed edge on the top one to make it smaller.

The hanging ornaments on the branches were stamped, colored w/ markers and cut out. I added a red bow w/ a button on top and the red and green layers. The finished card measures 4.25 x 5.50.
Thanks so much for stopping by!
p.s. if you've already started your Christmas shopping or (**gasp**) finished it, please don't rub it in, lol!

Beautiful. I love the green in between the red text.
Great job Julie! I love the ornament stamped in green and red and the way you colored the hanging ornaments!
This card just screams 'festive'! I love the combination of ornaments here and that button/bow is perfect!
Just lovely! I love the big ornament sentiment mixed with the ornament stamp and background!
What a fantastic card!! The green and red ornament is wonderful, as is the embossed background, but girl, I can't believe you cut out all those small ornaments - and the pine branches! Holy Smokes!!
This is really detailed and loely.that is some awesome doodling around the edges.
I love this card. I would have never thought to use a ornament die. that made it in to a wow card
Julie, this is absolutely GORGEOUS! Love the pine boughs and that ornament background.
