Welcome!

Guess where I am this morning? The York Expo Center in York PA - Yeah!! If by chance you live in the area and are kicking around today (or tomorrow!) pop on over to see us at the yearly stamp show going on this weekend!!!

Here's a sneak peek of one of the cards I'll have on display there ~

The center looks a little funky because it's a piece of clear plastic that was thin enough for me to run through my new Cuttlebug - Yes I finally took the leap and have invested in it and a few Nesties and an embossing folder or 2! I'm hoping to add to my collection this weekend at the show!

Stamping this baby was pretty easy! After cutting out my oval, I stamped the edges with our Bunch of Wheat stamp using brown and taupe inks. The plastic was a lucky break I found a week ago or so. Brand new plastic sheets! Imagine no scratches! It even comes with a protective film on one side to protect it! After cutting it to the correct size I simply ran it through my new cuttlebug and adhered it to the inside of my card.

To cover the tape on the inside I measured my next piece of cs (med. purple) to fit inside the card and then cut out a larger oval. I used both the oval itself and the paper it was cut from on the inside of my card!
and added a smaller oval stamped with our Thanksgiving Greeting in purple ink. Easy Peasy as they say!

Thanks so much for stopping by and if by chance you do make the show this weekend, please stop by and say "Hi"!

Happy Stamping!

Fabulous, Sue! Congrats on your new 'bug'. I warn you, those embossing folders and dies are addictive. Now you've made the leap, there's no going back, lol.

p.s. New plastic? I thought that's what they made the packages that stuff comes in for.
