Happy Friday!
I'm sure all of the DRS staff and design team are having a good time (and a laugh or two) ever since this Who's You Mummy greeting was released. I'll let you in on a secret about this greeting. As soon as we rec'd it, all of the DT started looking for a mummy image. What?? No mummy image?? So Sue (the person responsible) says, whoopsie, y'all (ok, the y'all part is me since I talk that way. Sue's from up north. I don't think they say y'all, lol) don't have to use it this year. We'll get a mummy next year. So what do we do? If the others are like me, it became a challenge I couldn't refuse. I think Sue is also responsible for making us think outside the box. And y'all are getting 3 (so far) ideas to use the greeting even w/o a mummy image. Pam showed you a super cute & creative Mummy card. Chris showed you how to dress up Frisky Florence as a mummy on her super creative card. Today, I want to share my spooky graveyard scene w/ just a partial mummy peeking over the fence. So I just have one question for Sue....Who's Your Mummy now, lol?

This little scene was created by stamping the two tree scenes w/ white pigment ink then I added the tombstones and extended the background w/ a white gel pen. I stamped the moon part again using black ink on a piece of yellow c/s. It was punched w/ the circle punch and attached over the base image. The mummy face is a punched circle I embossed w/ the stripe folder then added more torn strips on top and some googly eyes. The fence is more distressed stripe embossing w/ the top cut w/ deckle scissors. I added just the little bat (x 3) from the small bat w/ moon image. The finished card measures 5.5 x 4.25.
Thanks so much for stopping by! Have a great weekend!

What a cool mummy - I think I need to get some fence and tree stamps! You have inspired me!
Neat card Julie and way to go thinking outside the box! Great idea to just use the bat from the moon and bat stamp!
LOVE how you made that mummy. Goes perfectly with the fun sentiment. TFS!
Another clever mummy! Love all the different elements you used! Great job Julie!
This is a Wowza card, Julie. I love the scene you have created!
What a funny post! Everyone sure rose to the challenge! Love the whole spooky scene :)
I'm bowing - once again - before your greatness :) Looking beyond your awesome "made from scratch" mummy, I love the b&w with the yellow moon popping out!
Wonderful post too! Although to be accurate I do "Y'all" every now and again!
And for a little Halloween mystery, I posted a comment yesterday and today it's gone - spooooky!
Let me see if I can comment now. Terrific mummy scene. I love the dude hanging over the fence. Quite clever.
