Halloween is not too far off and to me, Halloween cards are just so much FUN, that it's never too early to start! This card started when somewhere in the back of my mind, I vaguely remembered someone sending me a jar of fluorescent orange embossing powder. Well, really...when else would I use fluorescent orange ep? So this is the first time I've used it and I think it looks great on black card stock. Very Halloweeny (is that a word?).
For the background, I embossed the Spooky Eyes Background multiple times to cover the panel. On a smaller piece of black, I embossed the Spooktacular Greeting and the Small Bat & Moon and die cut w/ a tag shape. The three ghosts were stamped on white an cut out. On the orange panel, I used a spider web embossing folder and attached a spooky punched fence. The finished card is 5.5 x 4.25.

Thanks so much for stopping by! Have a great weekend!

Julie, that orange ep is fabulous on this card. Love how you put it all together!
Ohhh is this CUTE!!! WOW!! Love this scene!
Love the orange embossing! I always thought the spooky eyes background had to be done in white--thanks for showing me otherwise!
This is a darling card, Julie. I love the ghosts and your fence is totally awesome.
Love those flying ghosts and yes, Halloweeny IS a word...If you look it up in the dictionary there's a picture of this card :)
This card has FUN written all over it! It's kinda nice to see an old fashioned black and orange Halloween card!
This card has it all, but I LOVE the orange eyes!
