We're having a heat wave...

I don't know about where you live, but here in the northeast it's been H - O - T hot! So naturally when I sat down to stamp I was looking for a little refreshing coolness! When I saw our new Cool Summertime sentiment the word "lemonade" jumped out at me and the rest as they say...is history!
I started by sponging yellow and orange dye inks onto a 4"sq. piece of white card stock and then stamped our Cool Summertime Greeting on top using orange ink. On separate pieces of lime green, orange and lemon yellow card stock I stamped our Citrus Slice stamp using clear versamark ink and embossed using white ep. I left a little border as I cut around the slices and then attached them to the corners of my card.

Thought I commented on this late Sat. night. Anyway......lemonade is one of my fav things. This is a thirst quenching card!
What a perfect card to make during the heat wave (I live in Central CA and it was "warm" today at 65...my sister laughs at me). But I do feel for everyone having to deal with the exceptionally hot weather. This card is refreshing and "cool".
